I have been working for almost 2 weeks and trying hard to adapt to the new environment. Having to wake up early in the morning is tedious. At the end of the day, I tend to fall asleep on the way back. It's been almost 2 years when I have to wake up at 6.30. Another 5 weeks more to endure! Anyway, happen to meet Jack coincidentally at the basement although we are working at different floors. Had a lil chat with him and found that he's rather a nice person. Hopefully, I get to see him again! Appointed as an admin assistant means that I have lots of paperwork to do, that causes all the papercuts on my hands and to make phones calls practically 2 weeks before every meeting. Calling these people isn't a simple task at all. You see.. I have to be able to answer some doubts they have and in addition, they are not the usual executives but mainly the decision-makers of the company - directors, principals, managers, etc. Some questions they asked are totally alien to miie. What I only do is to direct them to my manager. Haha. Moreover, they are hardly in the office. Contacting them is totally insane. Afterwhich, I would have to do the compiling. Spending most of the time in front of the desktop is freaking tedious. Weary eyes... Anyway, I'm also thankful that I had learnt how to use excel. Oh man. It definitely makes everything much easier and more efficient. Now I know that BCA lessons are useful.
Anyway, had an e1 gathering on last Fri for steamboat. Ended work slightly later and reached there only by 7+. By the time I was there, they are already ¾ done, as predicted. Ha-ha. Quite a number turn up. Everyone is trying to catch up with each other. Be it, studies, cca, life, etc ...Anyway, thxs obk! Your effort really paid off. A success for this gathering!
