Kind of sleepy today. Had a long day ytd. Went to watch Forbidden City last night. It was fabulous and worth the money paid. Though it was the second stage cast, the theatre was on full house. What the performers want in return is simply the loud applauses and acknowledgements from the audiences for the hard work they had put in. Don't ya agree? Thumbs up for them!Anyway...wanted to meet up with Asri before the show but I was slightly late. As usual intermission time is a super busy time. Practically have to speed up because the interval was only 15 mins and everyone frantically wants their stuff and refuses to wait a lil longer. It had been over a yr ever since I left esplanade. I was telling Asri that everything seems the same to miie. Even the stuff thy sell and arrangements are exactly the same except for one thing is the people that changes. Those whom I used to work with either left or ... Ha-ha. Reminiscing the times when I was there, slogging my ass off. But it was indeed fun and a nice experience. At least my task was much easier and classy than a banquet waitress. No offence manx! Till now, I still feel blessed whereby at that time esplanade was in need of staff if not I will be stuck at Oriental.
The Singapore Idol season is finally over. After months of tense competition, the birth of the winner is finally here. Hady, another malay champion. Both Jonathan and Hady are equally good. Thy have the talents and fans that have brought them all the way to the finals. But what does the result show??? For what I think it shows how united the muslim fans can be. But I do admit that there are non-muslim fans who loved him too. To me, I feel that Jonathan has a better future. The Chinese market is so huge and he’s only 23!
