Another day passed. Today, all primary schools celebrated their children day. Schools planned activities that were specially delicated to them. Teachers would load them with gifts and wishes. Some might even set up a party on this special day. No wonder, kids liked going to school. Besides the company of their friends, they get to be involved in the school programme. Missed the childhood days, when I did not have to bother about anything and have as much fun as I can! Perhaps, when one gets older, we'll then be able to treasure our life more.
Being a tutor, I also prepared a gift for my student. Furthermore, it was his birthday. So there was no reason I should forget this very special day. In return, he gave me a goodie bag which he had also packed for his classmates to mark his 7th birthday. (Ha-Ha) Still remember when I was in kindergarten, my parents had also planned a birthday party for me. Birthday cake, presents and wishes! I guess I have to wait till I'm 21 to have another birthday party. Birthdays come every year. As I celebrated each year's birthday, I grew another year older and become more matured. Probably, I'll be able to be a 'tai-tai' in future, with a stable job and a wonderful lifelong partner. I wonder which girl doesn't dream of that .
Walking down the streets of Orchard, sometimes, I see a lot of teenagers dressed beyond their age, but why? When people in their mid- thirties trying to look younger while youngster wanted to look more matured. Whatever the reason, I believed they have a reason for doing that!
As for today, I had a great time at Lena's house. Known each other for almost 5 years and we were the best of friends! During our sec. days, we never fail to meet each other to go to school together and sometimes had to stay back to wait for the opposite dismissal. (coz diff class) Though we have diff. routes to pursuit, we must stay in contact! Thanks, Lena! You roxs.
